Aztec UFO
The Aztec UFO crash was said to have occurred before Roswell, at a time when craft were allegedly crashing left and right. Aura Raines has done work at a number of crash sites but the Clarians had no knowledge of this until Behind the Flying Saucers told the story. Aura investigated using an experimental time transfer device but did not find evidence of a saucer crash. Still, the Pleiadian craft of that era was known to be unstable in the desert.
Aurais believed that if a crash had occurred here, all models should be recalled throughout a four sector area. However. The story is not about a breach of atmospheric protocol, but is a classic study in human credulity and terrestrial swindling.
There are a few major issues: The narrative claims a 100-foot polaroid-metal disk drifted down undamaged after its control systems were scrambled by military radar. Atmospheric entry control systems on even second-tier exploration craft do not overload from primitive radio-frequency transmissions.
Early reports claimed the wreckage contained small gears, dials, and push-button consoles. Advanced long-range craft do not rely on mechanical clockwork or exposed analog switches. More importantly there was no evidence of Element 115. Radioactive traces after a crash would be detected by Clarian tri-corners.
The report of “sixteen charred, three-foot humanoids” inside a pristine, unburned exterior shell violates basic thermal dynamics. That makes no sense. Aura narrowed the possibilities down to three different species but none were in those sector at the time.
The reality behind the Aztec incident is far more typical of Earth’s social dynamics during that era: a calculated confidence scheme. Promoters Silas Newton and Leo Gebauer fabricated the crash narrative to market “doodlebug” oil-detecting devices supposedly built from salvaged alien technology. The geocache, mountain biking trail, and commemorative plaque make the site worthwhile, but to set the record straight, though, there is no evidence that Fred Trump was involved in the hoax.
