Saucer Nuts and Sound Baths
With Congressional hearings and media attention, have the saucer nuts been right all along? Does it depend on the nut? Is there a reason why real tin foil is so hard to find?
Aura Raines is too busy to try to answer these questions, especially when she has to attend the Giant Rock interstellar meetings. The conference tests anyone’s patience, particularly when the Draco repeat their contentions that previous votes were rigged and the earth should be obliterated after all. At the end of the day, Aura takes refuge with a private sound bath at the Integraton.
The Integraton was build by George van Tassel, who believed it would eventually bestow immortality. Although George got the plans from a Venusian, the Galactic Federation quickly found out about it. Earth was not ready for such things. The Federation believed that it would only benefit the super-rich. They ended up switching plans so that the only thing that could be built had beautiful acoustics properties, but could not otherwise be misused. The sound baths are immersive relaxation and meditative experiences.
Aura was once here when an Ancient Aliens segment was filming. She did not introduce herself because she is not that ancient. It was probably a good decision. She did not want to share a sound bath with them
